I have returned again and again to paint Soho periodically over the last 20 years. I'm captivated by the energy, history and colour and I strive to recreate the feeling of walking these streets on wet, moody nights. I therefore keep the brushwork dynamic and the paint loose to allow elements to swim in and out of focus.
