Back in January I spent a few mornings pacing the Thames at dawn. I was drawn to the quietness under the South Bank - usually buzzing with the clatter of skateboards. The graffiti is a potent visual noise as artists leaving their mark creates myriad abstracts on the brutalist columns. Looking up through the architecture, the connections and contrasts between street and 'high' cultures are absorbing.
